G-L-P-1 Peptide Therapy for physician-led weight management
A medical weight management programme for adults who qualify for this treatment. You start with a metabolic and peptide panel. A licensed doctor then decides if it’s right for you, prescribes it, and adjusts your dose over time. All treatment happens at our licensed clinics in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
What is G-L-P-1 peptide therapy?
These medicines are prescription peptides. They were first made for type 2 diabetes. Some of them are now also approved to help adults manage their weight, when they’re used together with healthy eating and exercise.
They copy a natural hormone from your gut that helps control appetite, digestion and blood sugar. Because they affect your whole body, a doctor has to prescribe them and keep an eye on how you’re doing. They’re not a wellness supplement.
What your consultation covers
This therapy is a medical treatment. Whether you can have it is up to your doctor, not this page. They decide after looking at your panel results and your health history.
Weight & metabolic history
Your weight history, BMI, and any prior medically supervised weight-management attempts.
Existing conditions
Diabetes, thyroid history, gastrointestinal conditions, and anything relevant to how these medicines are processed.
Current medications
What you’re already taking, to check for interactions before anything is prescribed.
Pregnancy plans
This therapy isn’t prescribed during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or while actively trying to conceive.
Family health history
Certain personal or family medical histories mean this therapy isn’t appropriate — your physician screens for these.
Goals & expectations
What a realistic, medically supervised programme can and can’t do for you, discussed honestly.
Who this isn't for.
This therapy isn’t prescribed during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or to anyone with a personal or family history of certain thyroid cancers (medullary thyroid carcinoma) or MEN2 syndrome. Final eligibility is confirmed by your physician after reviewing your panel and medical history — not guaranteed to any applicant in advance.
The metabolic & peptide panel
Before any prescription is written, we run a panel that checks whether this therapy is appropriate and safe for you — the same results give your physician a baseline to monitor against over time.

Safety and what to expect
Peptides affect digestion, appetite, and metabolism across your whole body. In the UAE, they can only be prescribed, dispensed, and given by a licensed healthcare professional in a certified facility.
Your physician will not prescribe if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, or if your history makes this therapy inappropriate for you. This is assessed at consultation every time.
Why this is done at a licensed clinic
Every peptide product we use is sourced and registered the right way. A licensed doctor prescribes it, and our team gives it at the clinic. We don’t hand it out for you to use on your own without supervision.
- A DHA and MOHAP licensed facility in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
- Your doctor sets your dose and adjusts it as you go. There's no standard dose for everyone.
- Clinical oversight by Dr. Nas Al Jafari, Chief Medical Officer and Consultant in Family Medicine.
- Your panel results and consultation notes stay private. Only your care team sees them.

F.A.Q s
Many people tolerate it well, but side effects like nausea and an upset stomach are common, especially when your dose changes. Serious problems are rare. That’s why a doctor prescribes it and follows you closely. It isn’t right for everyone, and your doctor checks this at your consultation.
Blood sugar and insulin, cholesterol, thyroid, kidney and liver function, and a pregnancy test if needed. You can also add a metabolic genetics test. Your doctor goes through the results with you in person.
Your first dose is given at our clinic by a licensed professional, who also shows you the technique. Your doctor then changes your dose at follow-up visits
No. UAE rules say these medicines must be prescribed and given by a licensed professional in a certified facility. We don’t hand out peptide medicines for you to use on your own without supervision.
It depends on your insurer and your policy. Our team can check your plan with you before you start.
Both. You can do everything at either clinic, from the panel test to your follow-up visits.
